While many people think of summer as the "off season" for Scouting, the Scouts of Troop 281 know that adventure never takes a break.
This summer, our Scouts have been busy attending summer camp, earning merit badges, sharpening outdoor skills, and making memories that will last a lifetime. From hiking and swimming to leadership opportunities and campfire traditions, every experience helps build confidence, character, and friendships.
But the fun doesn't stop at camp. Throughout the summer, many of our Scouts continue serving their community, participating in service projects, working toward rank advancement, and enjoying outdoor activities with their families and fellow Scouts.
Troop 281 believes that Scouting isn't just a weekly meeting—it's a year-round opportunity to learn, lead, and grow. We're proud of our Scouts for staying active, challenging themselves, and living the Scout Oath and Scout Law every day of the year.
We look forward to seeing everyone back this fall as we begin another exciting season of adventures together!
August 25th is our first scheduled Troop Meeting, we look forward to seeing you there!
